Edifice Rosedale-Queen Mary a
mission of Mount Royal United Church. Once
again the highlight of the day will be the pet blessing and this year our own
Rev Clinker will officiate. There will be games, contests, everything
imaginable for the upbringing, training, rescuing, grooming and nourishment
of pets and the annual pet parade will award best dressed and best looking
pet prizes. Lots of fun for adults and children and lots of good stuff to
eat. Great entertainment as well. This
year we would like to double the number of pet registrations and visitors and
will donate all proceeds to 2 local charitable groups and an NDG animal
rescue shelter. What we need at this early stage is the names of volunteers
willing to help us do the actual setting up, registering guests, selling
raffle tickets, serving food, organizing events, judging contests (fun
stuff), controlling crowds and cleaning up and maintaining security and
don’t worry just send your name to Sandra Aird
